By joining the Indian Administrative Fellowship (IAF), Saha found a unique platform to apply his entrepreneurial skills to tackle systemic challenges in governance.
“Joining the IAF has been an incredible opportunity to leverage my entrepreneurial background to address pressing issues in public administration,” says Saha. His transition into this partnership journey placed him at the crossroads of opportunity, where his entrepreneurial acumen was directed towards confronting governance challenges head-on. His enthusiasm and experience managing tech products proved invaluable in this new venture, especially in addressing the talent and opportunity gap in Punjab.
Saha’s background in product development and industry liaison was instrumental in driving initiatives aimed at scaling opportunities and solutions. One notable project was the introduction of Micrographio, a company focused on bringing Global Capability Centres (GCCs) to Tier-2 and Tier-3 towns in Indian states, including Punjab. “It’s about creating employment opportunities through innovative solutions and bringing high-quality jobs to smaller towns,” Saha explains, showcasing his commitment to enhancing employment prospects.
Moreover, Saha played a crucial role in formulating problem statements for the Smart India Hackathon in Punjab. This initiative enabled students to showcase their skills and potential by collaborating with universities. “By leveraging platforms like the Smart India Hackathon, we aim to give youth the representation they deserve on a national competitive level,” Saha remarks. This initiative was geared towards driving meaningful change by sourcing talent and establishing a process for future smart hackathons.
