About MoSJE Cohort

In recent years, two notable trends have emerged in India’s development sector: the rise of digital public infrastructure and the collaborative efforts between the government and private sector to achieve large-scale impact. Our Fellowship’s early success in state projects highlighted the transformative potential of technology in public systems. Building on this, we’ve expanded the Fellowship to Union ministries, where there’s significant potential to shape policies that foster technological advancement and create digital public infrastructure. These policies have a nationwide impact, influencing millions across the country. We launched our inaugural Central Ministry cohort in partnership with the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment in March 2024. Our Fellows focus on key areas such as fostering entrepreneurship and innovation within marginalized communities, enhancing access to welfare schemes, and promoting educational empowerment initiatives.
