Field study of direct-seeded rice (DSR)

Did you know it takes about 2500 litres of water to produce 1 kg of rice using the traditional method? In contrast, the Direct Seeded Rice (DSR) technique reduces 25-30% of water usage, lowers labour requirements, and lowers the overall cost of cultivation.
