What is the Challenge?

Married women in India are fighting an uphill battle to gain employment. Time poor and restricted within their domicile, they face structural and social barriers to job markets. New work models that can co-exist with current constraints can unlock job access for millions of India’s homemakers.

What are we focusing on?

Digital microwork refers to small, discrete tasks that are distributed to a large pool of workers via online platforms. These tasks can be completed quickly with minimal skill requirement, and are uniquely suited to tap into India’s 160 mn strong homemaker talent pool.
